Good day!

Today, June 19, 2014 Facebook suffers outage: 'Sorry, something went wrong'

"Sorry, something went wrong" error message displayed by Facebook

Social media site Facebook suffered an outage Thursday morning, displaying an error message to many users: "Sorry, something went wrong".

Take note that this is not the first time it happened, as I remember Facebook have this issue way back September 2012.

The message was not only displayed when users tried to access the Facebook website, but also in the place of Facebook "Like" buttons which are installed on a multitude of websites across the web along with the mobile platforms.

Commercial organisations and consumers who support them appear to carry on with indifference in a hurting world. Injustice and greed play out as a sub-text to a profit-driven global market. At any given moment, I believe we as a society are all so very sorry. I also believe we can all emphatically agree that yes, something has gone very wrong.

But there is hope. As you say, Facebook “We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.“. If we seek help, then we must acknowledge that we do not have the answers. It also may require us to think through exactly what we are after to accurately frame the question to our knowledge base of friends, mentors, and leaders. If we do not think critically about our issues, we can find ourselves clicking around aimlessly, frustrating ourselves and our support network.

We hope that Facebook team could address this issue in no time.

Thank you and have a bright day.
